    Drawings for backyard and metal structure

    Beware, I would not use this company, It has been 5 months since I stated dealing with Hernando Castaño, he was supposed to do my backyard drawings and he’s refusing to finish, did I mention I paid fully for the services ?yes, Now he does not return phone calls, text messages or emails, when I resorted to bring up legal and administrative actions, he called me back cussing and showing what a poor professional he is, it is a shame there are people out there just taking your money and not finishing their jobs.

    Draw existing accessory building on our property

    If you are thinking about hiring Hernando Castano – BEWARE!

    April 2019 we hired him to draw a picture of an existing accessory building on our property in order to obtain a permit. We agreed to pay $400 upfront and $400 when the drawing was delivered which it was and we did about a month later in May 2019. We took the drawing to the permit office immediately and were advised a few minor changes were required before they would accept it.

    Then came the pleading and promising where we pleaded for an amended product and Hernando promised to get right on it until we threatened legal action and the amended drawing was produced in September 2019. This drawing allowed us to obtain a permit and schedule an inspection. The inspector noted that our building is built with ½” siding (which is acceptable) however the drawing specifies ¾” siding. Our building has 2x4 24” on center (which is acceptable) however the drawing specifies 16” on center.

    We do not think Hernando Castano earned $800 from us and we requested a refund. Apparently he thinks he did earn that money because we have not heard from him.

    If you decide to hire Hernano Castano please protect yourself by arranging to withhold final payment until a product you can use has been delivered and be sure to check it for accuracy.
