    Install fiberglass pool

We had Catalina install our pool in Nov 2020, and we could not be happier. They are very easy to work with, their business practices are very solid and good. If they say they are going to do something, then they do it and do it the right way. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Been dealing with Catalina pools for weeks now. They came out, surveyed my land, and gave me a contract to sign. The contract had the wrong pool on it, so I asked for the revised copy with the correct pool and features we wanted. They never sent it or followed up with me. I then called to have them email me the revised contract so I could get on the install list. I asked for an itemized breakdown, where they were now charging me $4,000 more than what I was quoted for the pool I wanted. I called Brenda out on the up charge to have her explain it to me. She said it was the new cost of the Imperial as of August 1st. She said that she ran out of the ones that she quoted me and because the cost to build them went up, she had to charge me more. I told her that was lousy, and they should have told me that the contract was time sensitive, or that the price may be increasing. She jacked the price up on me within one week, even with a contract. She then said that she would go ahead and honor the original price and told me she would email me everything. She never followed up with me. I followed up AGAIN a few days later to see where the contract was because I wanted to get on the list ASAP. She said that she never sent it out because the owner would not honor the initial price they quoted me. Whats the point of a contract if you don't honor it?? Additionally, if this is how they treat a POTENTIAL customer, think about how they are going to act after you've given them money when there's an issue with service, warranty etc. I feel like they took advantage of me after looking at my house, knowing I'm military, and knowing that I am a cash customer. We've chosen to take our business elsewhere. Also the owner is a cocky guy that told me he's got so many deals that they are falling off his desk....Maybe that's why he can afford to screw people over because he's not hard up for business right now.

    Verified Hire

I hired multiple contractors for my project and Catalina Pools is one of them. They met whatever they said they're going to do. They started when they said and left out clean, so I'm really happy with them.
