CBM installed my concrete rear patio which drained towards my home and pooled in the corner. I had Pulte and CBM "evaluate" the issue. It was determined that the patio violated code (1/8" per foot to drain away from the building) had to be removed and reinstalled. Michael appeared very helpful in scheduling this to occur. As the entire patio was to be removed my wife and I wanted to increase the size from 12x12 to 15x17. We repeatedly asked for a cost estimate but did not receive one. To assist in the work I offered, and was thanked, to remove the sod,sprinkler and extra dirt. Finally on the morning of the instillation I received a text...$700. I queried this as the concrete required would be less than 1 cu.yd. and this delivery would be a short load (ie they were paying more for the truck and delivery than for the concrete) and offered to pay $350. This was summarily rejected,no discussion. I guess that Michael felt that I had done the hard work prepping for the increase in patio size and would pay the ripoff price he demanded. I did not give in so now I will have to bring dirt in, re-install my sprinklers and sod. I have no trust in the truthfulness or manner of conducting business with a company that acts in this manner.
