I was told to be aware of this builders shady practices and now I as well an a victim of Mr. Oisin Burgess dba. Celtic Homes. Dr. And Mrs Shashaty advised me before I signed to be aware as they were victims themselves. Before signing the contract Mr. Burgess promised my wife and I he would finish jobs that had not been completed or had not been installed correctly. He hired a novice to install rock veneer in front of the house that looked like a 10 year old had installed it. He promised me he would have it redone along with a raising a wall in the backyard and refinishing the driveway with granules added to the paint of the driveway for traction since it was built a little steeper than most. He agreed it was a slip hazard especially when wet. There was a water leak in the kitchen that disfigured the laminate in the cabinet underneath he said he would replace after the leak was finished. This was never done. I texted him since he has changed his number about a window that wasn't able to lock. I never heard back from him on this as well. A few of his homes have had a lien placed upon them for non payment of construction supplies. I have talked to some of his construction crew that expressed to me that they had not been payed for their services. Personally I would stay away from this so called builder that does not have any integrity whatsoever. I did meet him on the road one day and expressed my dissatisfaction some of the neighbors were feeling. He gunned his vehicle and told me to seek an attorney if I wanted anything more done. Do I need to say any more?
