We had a $50K job with this contractor to lay pavers and concrete. He was following the plan for our landscape architect and made several mistakes. The landing was incorrect and a step he had poored looked very poor. Also the colors of the concrete he hap poured on subsequent attempts did not match. After several attempts, we were satisfied with the result. After we paid him we noticed large cracks forming on one of our retaining walls. He was not interested in helping us any future and his response is that structurally it was fine. The wall was visible and is part of our hardscape so it is important that it look good. He said that his contract was not with us but with our contractor and he would not warranty his work.
