Contractor removed old patio and sidewalk. They installed a stone patio in front of the house, a walkway on the side of the house and a new patio in the rear of the house. The front patio was installed correctly, but as they were finishing up the walkway and rear patio, I noticed that they were not using concrete pointing as they did with the front patio. I questioned why they were using sand instead of concrete pointing. I was assured by the contractor that the pointing on the walkway and rear patio would be done correctly and will last as long as the concrete pointing. Immediately after the job was complete, I noticed that the pointing on the walkway and rear patio was consistently moist and starting to erode. I contacted the contractor several times and was told that they would take care of it once they finished working through a business purchase and health problems. The contractor is no longer returning my calls to resolve,

By Elizabeth G.August 12, 2021Two long walkways, porch
I contacted Mike Cerminaro based on an add. We had no other knowledge of him but he was responsive to our inquiry, gave a very competitive estimate, and was available to do the work within a month. We decided to take a chance and are very glad we did. Mike and him team began work when they said they would, finished ahead of time and the job is quite beautiful. He redid two stone walkways and added a stone surface to an exisiting concrete porch. In addition he recapped concrete stairs that were not in the estimate at no additional cost. It is clear that Mike cares about the quality of his work. Our expectations were exceeded and we have already agreed to further work, as stonework that once looked passable no longer does in comparison to this job.
Thank you.

By William E.August 7, 2021Patio enlargement and resurfacing and resurfacing front walk.
Cerminaro & Sons Masonry completed a project at my home that resurfaced and enlarged my patio, and resurfaced my front walk. They provided excellent workmanship by their employees, quality materials and completed the project in two days, as promised. Additionally, their fees were very competitive and they honored their quote. My wife and I are completely satisfied with their work and highly recommend them for similar projects.

Came by to look at the site. We agreed on a price and was given a date to do the job about a month in advance. As the date approached I contacted them to confirm and did not get a reply. A couple days later I tried again and still no response. I don't know when or why he decided he did not want to do the job but he couldn't let me know? Then couldn't even be bothered to reply. Thanks cerminaro stone for jerking me around for a month and wasting my time.
