Conrad designed and supervised construction for our 3000+ square foot house in the Catalina Foothills in 2003. Conrad's design ideas are both creative and practical. He designed the house on a sloping lot to be compatible with the contours of the land and to blend with the terrain. His design ideas on the interior are functional, custom, and practical. The ceiling heights and spaces were impressive from all angles. Conrad labors over the efficient use of materials, so that waste is minimized. He designs the floor plan with an understanding of the occupants habits and needs, to create a custom, highly usable space. Conrad continually thinks about the projects he's involved in, so that dynamically, improved changes are likely to be implemented during the construction process, resulting in a better end result.
Conrad is always available and attentive to the needs of the project. We enjoyably occupied Conrad's design for over 10 years and were continually impressed with the look, feel, and function of this house.

For the last 18 years we have lived in a beautiful home designed by Conrad Bachelier. The architecture with its rounded corners, large rooms with high ceilings is not only ecstheticly appealing, but comfortable and livable. Proportion and elegant design without fussiness dominate. Conrad preserved the large saguaros originally on the lot including the huge specimen around which the master suite was built.

Perhaps the best thing about the building is that Conrad designed a large, beautiful home on a lot that was considered to be unbuildable; it's footprint had to be squeezed between an arroyo on the left and a neighbor who had built his house as close as possible to the property line. Instead of a view of any neighbors, however, the design creates from almost every room, the unobstructed views of the 10,000 foot Catalina range which almost jump through the windows.

Conrad Bacheleir designed and built our home in 2002. We could not be more pleased with the unique design and the innovative use of space.
Over the years, we have had minor issues with house and without fail, Conrad has worked to resolve whatever the problem was. I have never had a better experience with someone who was more responsive in backing their work, even 10 to 12 years later. I could not recommend Conrad and his company more highly.
