  Shane came out surprise style to d my drive NOW. They gave me a price of 4-5000 bucks to lay industrial grade asphalt over my existing very damaged driveway. He left and brought back his crew in 10 min and then the price doubled to 8000. I had to bargain hard with them to back down to 6000 and they agreed on that. They began ripping by yard apart and then told me they needed 7000. I sent them home and they left me with a mess and an hour of my time I cannot get back. Crooks! Do not trust them!

  You get what you pay for, there the cheapest for a reason, they have a guarantee but they don't honor it. Pay a little more and get the job done right

  Seal joint in driveway

  FRUSTRATED....UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE....ANGER ISSUES..they didn't do what I had wanted, then hung up on me when I tried to explain.
  I called CH to get a quote on sealing my driveway.....I expressed that I had a concern that water was running down my driveway and going under the pavement in the road. My driveway was in great shape, but the road pavement at the end of my driveway was crumbling because of the water getting under it (my road was paved after my driveway....so the road pavement overlaps the bottom of my driveway)

  The office staff was wonderful to deal with. They scheduled someone to come out and give me a quote on a day when I was at home. That person was in and out so fast....all they did was leave a quote on the door and never knocked. The quote was not itemized, but I figured that they were professionals and could see the joint that needed to be sealed. So I called and scheduled.

  They had to reschedule the work to a day I couldn't be there (because of rain delays).....so I left the check for them. When I got home, I saw that they had stopped sealing about a half an inch before the joint with the road, so water is still getting under the pavement!! (see photos). Another small chunk just washed away in last nights rain.

  When I called the office, the woman there was very polite and scheduled someone to come out and look on Monday (tomorrow). On Saturday, I got a call from someone identifying themselves as being from CH Paving (called ID said he was from Christian Assembly Ministries). He was wondering why I wasn't home, as he was in my driveway looking that the joint. He claimed they had sealed over it, and that I was seeing dirt. (again, see pictures). I tried explaining what I see there, but he got very loud and was interrupting me . I asked him to stop shouting so I could finish explaining.....so he hung up.

  If this was a misunderstanding and the salesperson who wrote the quote didn't see the crack.......I would have happily paid more to have it done correctly. But it's impossible to deal with a company who sends out someone with an anger issue who won't even listen. (and not on the day they agreed to)

  I don't know how to deal with this now.....but I'd be scared to do business with CH Paving.
