It’s hard to know where to begin with Championship Construction aka Mike Glavin, but I’ll try giving the Reader’s digest version. It’s been almost 2 years and the job is still not complete due to their shoddy workmanship. At first, they were great and did quality work, but time went on and their work went downhill. Mostly it’s due to the poor job painting the new cabinets. We spent thousands of dollars putting in new cabinets and they keep separating from the wall and the paint keeps cracking. Mike has no idea why. Our old cabinets for over 20 years had never cracked. These cabinets have been painted 4 times now. The last time they were painted we thought it did the trick and we paid them. This was our mistake, then they cracked again. Also, he put in a bathroom door which just makes marks as it opens. He couldn’t fix that. He installed a screen door that had to be fixed 3 times because it wasn’t put in correctly, and it’s still not working. It’ll lock, but not latch. I’ve texted him several times about coming back to fix his mistakes-more than what’s listed, and at first, I got some texts saying he’ll come on a certain day, or waiting for a part, but he never shows. If I were you, I would not hire Championship Construction.

Zero stars. We hired Mike Glavin and Championship Builders LLC in Feb 2022 and as of May 2023, they weren't complete on a large interior remodel with addition. Lazy, shotty work all around. Unsecured dry wall, floors & walls not square or plumb or level (that's insane for a contractor), doors and windows won't open, paint peeling on trim and walls, three showers with tile/quartz/glass had to be ripped out and completely redone because of his horrible work. They found water damage after just 3 weeks of shower use post-Mike. Days after he left the property, we had water pouring in from a light fixture. Turns out his plumbing was never completed and had been leaking for months. All HVAC has to be rerun because they didn't put returns anywhere on two levels of the home. After we finally fired Mike Glavin, we were contacted by multiple vendors, stating he never paid them. He killed a 80 year old tree we built the house around from grading out yard improperly, and we had to install a new fence due to his dismanteling so frequently. DO NOT HIRE at any cost. This man has cost us thousands and thousands of dollars and we're still bleeding. He's a criminal.
