First appointment with Chase seemed pretty straight forward. He came out to see why our fireplace wasn't igniting. He stated that it needed a new ignitor and needed to source parts, which he stated wasn't a big deal since all fireplaces are similar. One week went by and never heard back from him. I reached out and was informed that he had not sourced a part and would work on it. He got back to me quickly stating that just a cleaning should work and no need to do part replacement. He said he would contact me by the middle of the following week since he started a new BIG job. Never heard back from him. I put up a review on Thumbtack after I never heard back from Chase. His response was that customers not needing central air in August are not a priority. NEVER did he state that during the initial visit when I told him I wanted it working by September. Mind you where we live, we have cooler temperatures sooner. He also stated that he did not charge when he came and diagnosed, sounds like he should have asked for payment if it was necessary. I would have happily paid if that was expected. We hired another Fireplace company that came out and repaired the part same day. They had the parts needed on hand. Chase also stated in his comment back to my review on thumbtack that the company went out of business and parts were hard to source. How weird is that?! PLEASE don't waste your time with the runaround we received.
