    When Pat was ready to pour the concrete we asked where the drain was. They completely forgot to put the pipe under the rocks even though it was in the contract and we talked about where the pipe would run. When they poured the concrete they left two huge holes next to the steps where one misstep would be a sprained or broken ankle. Complained and they came and poured concrete in the holes. When the job was done it looked good. Pat had his wife come with the invoice as they added $725 for extra topsoil and stone. You would thing when you bid a job you would be able to foresee how much topsoil/stone you would need. Within six months we had two cracks. Pat said he would cut the one crack out and re-concrete. Instead he slapped sealer on it and it looked terrible. We complained about the look of our new patio and he said he would reseal the whole thing. Before he sealed the surface was smooth. After he sealed the surface was gritty and sandy. It started to crack up within days. More calls...more waiting. Now Pat said he would power wash. Made an appointment for week of March 21st...no call/no show. Supposed to come 3/30. Waited around on Wednesday...no call, no show. Texted him and he said he forgot he would be there on Friday morning(4/1)...no call, no show. I texted him and this time his truck broke down. Guess he didn't have his phone to call me. Pat said it was a "very small crack." If you call a 3 foot crack small...and the thing about a crack is it is going to get bigger and bigger.
    Our patio now looks like it is ten years old. We are just hoping that when we power wash it will look better and I guess we will have to hire someone else to fix the cracks. Would never recommend Pat Neubauer to do a job.
