  Beware! We hired Chopka Construction to do a 12'x16' two story addition that was by their estimations was to take two months. It took nearly 11 months to do what they consider complete. Negligent and unprofessional in many ways. Most awful experience imaginable! They did not honor the contact and did as they wanted, not as to what the contract specified. We are left with wrong ceiling height, (my husband can't stand up in our new cellar), wrong size door, cracked floor, cracking walls, countertop cut crooked, unpainted doors,and pictures with more examples of their work. Be prepared to have heated verbal disagreements about wanting what you discussed in great detail about your project fulfilled. Even if it's in writing they don't care. Lesson learned, final payment withheld!!!

  Well if painting over crack walls and peeling paint and doing work the way they wanted to do it. not as I was paying them to do. I could of brought another house
  for as much as I payed Chopka to work on mine. not any more to be said that is
  good any way.. may god bless you Chopka.....

  Its a shame that the employees that represents the company are racist. I was offended when one of ur employees referred to myself and my friend as a "n###er"...when asked did he just refer to us such, he uneqivalitely said yes and referred to us as a "n###er" again to our face... If this is a reflection on how your employees treat African Americans. I would never want to do business. I was disrespected while he proudly wore his chopka construction shirt and reeked of liquor. I am beyond upset.
