CHRIS ABBOTT IS A CON-ARTIST DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR MONEY. Deposited $4,700 with Chris on 10/27/17 for roof replacement to start following week. Funds were deposited in escrow with his attorney. Yet job was never started and funds disappeared. As of 12/31/17 Chris has been dodging calls and follow-up. I Hired attorney to pursue, yet Chri’s promises to refund were never met. Now taking legal action.

Contract initiated on Oct. 26, 2016 with Chris Abbott to replace roof shingles at rental property. Multiple requests made to Mr. Abbott to initiate work; there would always be some excuse after he stated that my project would be next. Because none of the work stated on the contract was ever performed after more than 10 months, I terminated the agreement on Sep. 11, 2017 and requested a full refund of $3924.96 within 60 days (deadline of Nov. 11, 2017). No refund has been received thus far despite having multiple exchanges with Mr. Abbott where he stated that he would pay me back, even to the point of setting up three pre-arranged person-to-person meetings on Nov. 16, 17, and 19 to obtain the refund. Mr. Abbott would always find some excuse (e.g., "I'm in Lansing", "I'm in Hazelwood", "I'm in Iowa") that he could not meet with me at these three pre-arranged meetings.

Chris Abbott is a con artist and ripped me off not just on my roof, to the tune of 15k - His guys did a crap job on the roof which had to be fixed later and same story as above guys --- He dodged calls, disappeared, etc., etc. This all happened in 2017, but I feel the need to warn people about him to this day --- It is shocking that he is still in business.
Also, he used earnest money for a different property he told me about - which was in escrow with his lawyer that turned out to be a corrupt lawyer and is under investigation with the ARDC - Chris Abbott spent my earnest money without my permission! ---
