My experience with this guy was poor at best. He wasn't terribly professional (flicked a big wad of chew into the middle of my yard when he was giving me a quote). His crew was pretty poor overall, and he later told me he fired most of those guys... thanks for having them do my job. He pitched all these things he would do when he was quoting the job that he would do and wouldn't cost any more. He then proceeded to try to talk me out of anything that would require more work.
Anyway, I can get over all that as long as you do a good job. He told me that his name was the reason I was paying REAL money for this job and that if I wasn't happy with anything he would make it right. He did a terrible job. There were huge cracks in some really obvious spots and there were area that they didn't get cement all the way up the bender board. So it looks like there were air pockets in there or something. The result was no cement an inch down from the surface and them what looks like a giant cave in the bottom of my patio. The job was piss poor. He came out and told me that the contract states "cracks" are inherent to concrete and that he would just fill them. I'm sure that would look terrible. He said he would schedule a time to come out and fix it but dodged my calls for about 6 months before I went to the CSLB. Stay away from this guy. There are a million other guys out there that do concrete. Find one with a high rating. This guy does a crappy job and dishonest.
