Signed on with him to build porch deck. Led me to believe job would be done by experienced workman. Crew that showed up more like Keystone cops! Under vetted, wrong or no necessary tools, inexperienced! Let Chris know my concerns and he had to provide close supervision so they’d get it right. Now I have seams that don’t line up, wood pieces with obvious defects. Picking up cigarette butts from my yard and driveway for days. Time came to pay balance and he stuck to full quoted price despite disappointing experience. I guess the good crews get sent to country club and the rest of us get the “B” team?
UPDATE: Requested warranty work to address railing joints separating. Mr. Pierce sent me a letter negating the entire 1 yr warranty by accusing me or some phantom of removing the railings and replacing them to look worse. I am 73 yo and not prone to sabotage! Deck was shoddily built to begin with and probably settling. Now his anger at being challenged is overtaking any ethics he may've had.
