Chris was great to work with and very professional. We had a load bearing wall taken out between kitchen and front living room and two support beams put in the ceiling. Chris was very knowledgeable and knew what needed to be done to get what we wanted. He was very responsive and had the job done in 2 days. We highly recommend him and plan on hiring Chris again for future projects.

I hired Chris to take out a wall between my kitchen & dining room which included demo, installing beams, drywall, electrical and trim work. Chris quoted me a very good price and he and his crew completed the work efficiently and professionally. I was very pleased with his work and will hire him again for future remodeling projects.

Chris is by far one of the hardest workers over ever hired! We were in a time crunch I get work done before closing in our house that we sold. He was able to give us a quote and start the same day! He build us a BEAUTIFUL railing around our front porch - attention to detail and fast work are two things you don’t find too often in a contractor.

I found the contractor on another site, not here on Buildzoom. I had 5 bids from different contractors. My wife and I reviewed every bid even discussed project scopes with every one of them. We chose Chris based on his professionalism, knowledge of the construction industry as well as checking referrals that he provided to us. They all checked out and we were excited to text him and offered him the job. His responsiveness was very punctual.
The project took 6 weeks. It was a kitchen remodel he and the crew completed. What stood him out than the other contractors was that he could measure the kitchen cabinets, made 3D drawings from his office, ordered cabinets as a dealer also installed our beautiful cabinets himself. We got all of these services in 1 package. Something you don't see much anywhere. We met with few kitchen designers (not his) and they had subcontractors that perform the work. That's extra mark-ups we didn't wish to pay for so Chris' price was within few other cabinet quotes we received elsewhere and we knew it was a huge steal of a deal.
His professionalism and demeanors were top-notch. He communicated and kept us in the loop of the project daily. We were very pleased with his forthcomings. At the end of the project, he gave us a punch list and asked us to put any blue tape that we see that need to be corrected or touched up. This is exactly how we envisioned when working with a contractor. Our kitchen turned out very beautiful. One thing when we received bids, his estimate was broken down into itemized estimate, outlining every work and cost. We wanted to see exactly where our money was being spent on.
If you need a contractor, I would recommend Chris. He's also a very nice gentleman, very understanding of our concerns or requests. We got along very well and ended up becoming friends afterward, something that doesn't happen often anywhere.

Chris just completed my kitchen remodel last year in October and I was very pleased with how it turned out. So beautiful and sleek. My friends came over and they were in awe of my new kitchen. Everything was done from top to bottom (New Electrical Lighting, Plumbing, Painting, Tile Backsplash, Granite Countertops, Cabinets & New Flooring).
I am a local sheriff and I did my homework on this contractor. While I understood he had few bad clients in the past, the positive reviews outweighed the negative ones plus he had references which I also checked them out. Not only those items I also looked into his previous projects. I realized that not every contractor is perfect and that we all make mistakes in life. The important thing that stood out about him was his professionalism and his approach to the project with every details. He took photos of the whole progress as well as documenting every work he performed. To me, this means that he took every consideration in making sure I was happy with the progress. I ended up having him redo the ENTIRE main level in my house. New stairwell with hardwood treads and white risers also upgraded my handrail with new stain to match the hardwood flooring and steps.
Chris is somebody you should consider hiring to do the work. He knows just about everything from a design standpoint to trade work. He has a design software to make kitchen 3D drawings and he sells 3 different brands of cabinets. I ended up going with Homecrest due to more viable options they offered at a reasonable price. He also do all the installation of new cabinets. You get 3 in 1 service for a decent price. I went to Home Depot and Lowe's to get quotes and they charge almost 10% to 15% more than Chris' price. I was able to get 2 lazy susans, spice rack, pull out drawers with utensil cans, soft close drawers and doors, food panty with pull-out drawers that also feature soft close, wine cabinet to store wine glasses underneath as well as wine for stocking purpose. All of the options I wanted Chris was able to stay under budget.
I could not be more pleased with my new kitchen. It looks like something you'd see in a magazine. I showed Chris some photos that I found on Houzz and he was able to accomplish that by making my kitchen look super beautiful.
Beside his work, he is a very nice gentleman. I'm a widow and have 3 young children. My husband passed away at age 43. Chris took great care of us all during his time working on my house. I will hire him back to remodel upstairs in a year or two when I save up more money. He is someone you can also trust to do all these things. We both became good friends afterward.
Please consider him for any of your projects.
Thank you,
K.J.

I hired Chris Rodgers to build a screened in porch. On March 30, 2017 the Sumner County Court awarded a judgement on my behalf for his Breach of Contract. Rodgers has not repaid this $6,200 judgement. I would never recommend this person Feel free to contact me at [email protected]

By Joe H.April 5, 2018Interior Painting, Hardwood Refinishing & Trim Work$15,000
I hired Chris through my realtor who referred him to us. My family and I were in the process of moving to Tennessee from Wisconsin. My realtor recommended Chris to give us an estimate on few work inside our new home. This work was done right after the closing. Interior painting in several rooms, new carpet in the living room, hardwood flooring refinishing and trim work (add deco trims). Chris and his team went in there and completed the whole project in 2 weeks, just in time for our arrival. We did a final walk-through. My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of work his team did. I have to say Chris was far the best contractor I have worked with. I have done business with many contractors up in Wisconsin. Chris' professionalism and responsiveness were what we expected from a contractor. We love our new home and cannot wait to raise our children for many more years. Thank you Chris for the amazing work you and your team did on our home. We are very pleased with the outcome.
