Paid for a roof over my camper. Looked good but ceiling fell out over winter twice and it’s leaning against my slide out now. He was aware but never came back to fix. We paid way more that he delivered. Needs to stand by his work.

My mother in law had work done by Chris after he was forced on her by another pushy family member. He charged $19,000 for a siding job along with an addition that was already rough installed. Chris started the job in mid August 2019 and worked maybe a total of 7 days on the project until the week of Thanksgiving 2019 when we had to fire him for his poor attendance and workmanship after lying to us one too many times.
In the timeframe Chris worked on the project he managed to trash the yard with garbage and construction waste three times, caused $700 damage to a brick wall that had to be repaired by another contractor, and unplugged a deep freezer resulting in the loss of $1000+ in meats. He also damaged the satellite dish during his siding install which had to be reset three times.
Chris does not take responsibility for his mistakes and fails to make good when he is called out on them. He makes empty promises and has trouble with taking on other jobs while he is in the middle of a project. I had to give this one star minimum but it should really be a zero. Do not use Chris Small for any of your contracting needs.
