Going through receipts provided by our property management company , I saw a charge of $160 for a "Price Pfister" faucet in one of the rental units (From Christensen's Plumbing). This past week I visited the rental and it is actually a $50 Delta faucet.
Furthermore, after checking their contractors license, on their receipt (#597744) it says that their license expired in July of 2012 and the company is "NOT
ABLE TO CONTRACT AT THIS TIME." The work was performed in January 2013.
Not only are they ripping people off by billing for a different than installed item, they are breaking the law by contracting without a license. If you care about your home or property I would advise you to stay away. Needless to say, the property management company has received their 30 day notice of termination and a complaint has been filed with the CSLB.
