By Lisa B.September 30, 2016a hole in the roof$5001 day
My father had a hole in the side of the roof and it leaked a little bit. Chris came out and charged my dad $500 and the next time it rained we had a pool in the back room and everything is ruined. My dad has been calling him for months to please finish this job the right away but he just refused to call my dad back. DO NOT HIRE HIM!

By TanyaJuly 28, 2015Gutter & soffit repair$250Lied about his name, refused written estimate!
I am a landlord. Most roofers are either busy doing full roofs - or have retired! I made some calls from the Green Sheet for a gutter & fascia replacement, including Christopher's. No business name listed, but licensed and insured. When he returned my call, he stated his name was "John". I described the property and the issue. He was friendly - until I asked for a written estimate in the mailbox. I don't live at the property, I'm a landlord. He absolutely REFUSED, telling me he'd been "screwed". I stated I could not work with someone without a written estimate provided with a scope of work. Again, he refused, stating he'd been screwed in the past. I gently suggested he change his mind. He hung up on me. Yikes!

Chris and his workers were very good. He was there when he said he would be and got the job done in a very pleasing satisfactory way. I'm definitely gonna have him back to work on other projects around the house

I hired Schnurr to fix a roof leak. He said that he would do it when he finished his current job. I came home from work one day and he and his co-conspirator were waiting for me in front of my house. He claimed that the job was done, and I paid him. Next time it rained my ceiling leaked again. I called Schnurr several times and and each time he said he would be back to repair the leak. After that he quit taking my calls and I left multiple messages. Eventually I contacted the Attorney General in an attempt to recoup my money. They have had no luck trying to contact him and he avoids responding to their calls and messages. Further legal action is pending because he lied and never did any work on my roof. This was verified by the guy that actually did fix the problem.
Avoid this jerk at all cost - he is a rip-off artist with no concern of doing the job right or lying about what he really does to your property.
