    I have had Chris Lucero and his team at CJL Construction do several construction projects for me over the last few years. Their work is always great, they are timely, and they are consistently professional to deal with. Their estimates are reasonable and their workmanship is good. Chris and the guys at CJL Construction are my go to team!

    I was referred to CJL Contruction by many people for my home remodel. Chris showed up to provide an estimate and it was 100% accurate at the end. Chris and his staff were very professional throughout the whole job. Workers knocked down walls, did dry wall, raised drop down floor, and laid floors, and placed base boards in my new home. Chris amade sure to come to the house and made sure work was right. Chris also made sure that I stayed informed throughout the entire job.

    Strongly Urge To Stay Away

    I recently inquired with Chris Lucero of CJL construction in reference to a remodel job. When I asked Chris for his current business registration along with current insurance he began to give me the run around and stated that "I could trust him, he's been in the business for years." At that point a red flag went up in my mind so I took it upon myself to look up Chris Lucero and CJL Construction and found that hes been in business for over 3 years this year (2015) however he has only applied for 3 permits in that time period this leads me to believe that Chris Lucero is not a legitimate business man. Also after reading the reviews on Chris And CJL Consrtuction I strongly urge people to avoid Chris Lucero an CJL Construction.

    HUGE MISTAKE!!! The most unreliable and unprofessional excuse of a contractor I have ever met!!! After the contractor did show up I found some items were missing from my home and when I asked the contractor he was rude, defensive and called me crazy!! Needless to say I removed the contractor from my home and hired an honest, professional contractor to complete the work for me. Small claims court here we come!! STAY AWAY!!!

    Don't do it!

    Worst building experience in my life! These guys couldn't build a dog house right! Hire someone else, they're not even the cheapest, but they do the lousiest work, when they show up. I'll never use them again. I had to hire a different contractor to finish the job these guys started. Stay Away!

    This is the worst business in Albuquerque. Unproductive, unprofessional and utterly disappointing . Please don't waste you're time or your money .
