Unacceptable work ethics! You don't mistreat customers, they are your advertisers. This company is run by two partners Mr. M and Mr. J (will only use their initials). We spoke with Mr. M upon hire and Mr. J represented Mr. M in the latter stages of the job (although Mr. M continued to call the shots). The masonry work completed by Mr. J was done pretty good. However, everything else was not according to expectations for reasons such as the following:
1) Failure to uphold promise: final stages of the job was completed months after the agreed deadline.
2) Untidy: despite having access to numerous trash cans, bottles and wrappers were left on the property each time. They were spoken to about this on numerous occasions. Cement was left on the fence and grass. Cement was mixed on the grass and left there.
3) Cheap materials: the soil they purchased contained more weeds than we previously had (we have photos for proof). The wrong pavers were purchased although we showed them samples of what we desired.
4) Customer's needs disregarded: we clearly informed them and showed them examples of how we didn't want the yard to look when completed. Who wants to have patches of missing grass in their yard? We didn't! Why wouldn't you want to take pride in your work? They don't!
5) Dishonest: we provided Mr. M with $7000 to purchase some materials at a point in time. Mr. J was not made aware of this and that later delayed the process. Since at that point Mr J was suppose to oversee the work and purchase further materials.
6) Unpunctual: arrived around 10am or later to work and left the property most time before 3:00pm. Didn't always show up when they were expected to and never communicated.
7)Lack of manpower: One worker was sent to complete a 3 man job. This occurred for weeks. They attended to customers who hired them after us. Well, thank God for covid and customers turning them away. Or else they would of been working still.
Once we decided to remove jobs from our initial request, Mr. M decided to increase the prices on materials. As if we can't conduct or own research.
Everything that has been mentioned in this review can be vouched for with proof. They will not complete anything else for us. God does not sleep, see you in court.
