On the whole It was fantastic. This company Clearview does amazing work fast and efficient with very little bother or inconvenience to me the homeowner. They were reliable and did exactly what they said they were going to do. I had and have one trepidation and that was with the financing. They interface with the HERO program which is not a government program to provide the funds. HERO adds the costs to your property taxes which can have some benefits but watch how high the payments could go.Just watch out for salesman's tricks.

Clearview Home Energy Solutions did a great job installing our windows. Looks amazing now and blocked out the sound from outside too. I would hire them again definitely

They call and call and call. Had an appointment, called to say they were short of staff and wanted to come a little later or the next day.
This sent a red flag up for me, not interested. I am sure they will call some more, but it's their dime. I see their number will ignore the call. If you like a daily call from them it might work for you. -

First - they call way to much - but...
After we gave in and talked to the first guy they sent out we thought for sure we would not use them. They called back... to see why we were not interested we told them the heavy handed sales guy turned us off. They apologized and asked if they could send a manager out to make it right.
We agreed. The manager who came out restored our faith in the company. Offered us our new air conditioning system including new ducts at a price that was competitive.
Within 3 days we had the new system in. The workers were hard working, professional and knowledgeable. They have followed up to make sure everything is running well. I have never been so impressed by a contractor result in the 25 years I have been in my home. Highly recommend them.

Afters weeks of calls I siad they could come out for a visit. Then they would not talk to me unless both my wife and I were present, as this was an requirement of the Energy Company.
This is the same approached of Time Share sales people. If someone can't asisst me without my wife present. GoodBye. -

Don't use this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They call non stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEVER requested any info from them and have NEVER heard of them. I'm on DO NOT CALL LIST and I just reported them!!!

This company is calling non-stop . Apparently working together with the Public Utility Organisation in the area. Politely denying their service doesn't help! Being on a No-Call list doesn't help either, although other companies acknowledge this!
It's reaching the point of harassment !
I have absolutely no interest in their service at his point and probably never will! What do they think, if they call more often I will drop thousands of dollars because they are a nuisance, not because I want home-improvement???
Can't judge their work only their attitude! -

This company has been non stop calling our house to solicit business and when my husband asked him politely to take us off their calling list, he said "NO" and hung up! They are extremely rude and can't be trusted! They are a scam! BEWARE!

The program manager came to our home, spent four hours going over what they could do, the benefits of texture coating, energy savings, etc. He wanted to get our home done ASAP so we could be the model home; others would drive by to see their work. Clearview would put out a sign on our lawn for two months, we would write a letter saying what a wonderful job they did, they could take before and after photos, and we would not tell anyone the cost. Really? No sign, no letter, no drive-bys, no photos. For this he supposedly dropped the price from $28,000 to $20,000.
Were we taken for a ride? What would the work really cost? I give them 3 stars not because of the work but because I have serious doubts about the true cost.
The workers did a nice job. The 5-7 day project took three weeks because of rain, Christmas, and New Year holidays. Our windows had plastic covering on them for the entire time.

Did what said (almost, the entire house was to be insulated, not an easy job house is nearly 100 years old, I occasionally find wall spaces they did not inject with insulation) which was to install Trane heat and air unit on my roof and all necessary ducting for air flow. After 4 years we have saved probably thousands in gas and electric bills. There have been minor glitches but what doesn't? Overall very happy.

They were very nice and polite. Their work was good. Their salesmanship was sleezy, not in how it was delivered, but in how none of it was true. I was told "the good part about our windows is that you won't lose so much light", when I said I didn't tolerate low light, that it was important to have a lot of light in my home in order to stay healthy. The end all was that they never finished measuring, leading me to believe that they had not yet ordered the product since they only had 50% of the measurements. I lost my job 10 days after signing the contract, and since they never completed measurements assumed that I could cancel it with a small penalty. Instead, I was told the product was there and they were ready to schedule installation. They installed and I lost 40% of the glass in each and every window with 4 1/4 " vinyl on all sides and now require two to three lamps in the room I am in during THE DAY! Some energy savings, it will cost me more

Clearview did a great job! They had good equipment (American Standard). We used them to install heating and air conditioning. We got a very good deal as far as I could tell. They may have up-sold us on buying a heater when we only wanted to add air conditioning. But, they kinda have to be paired. However, they did use a hard sale tactic to get me to commit to their company & price without shopping around. And, they did burn me a bit on the cost of "optional" blown-in insulation from what I've heard. But, I guess they have to have a profit margin somewhere. Overall, we are very happy with the price, installation, and warranty. It's so nice to have AC in the summer.
