We did use Cliff's to replace our nearly 20 year old air conditioner. Their rep came out pretty quickly and gave us estimates for a "good", "better" and "best" installation. Surprisingly, the rep did not recommend the more costly "best" system stating that the extra cost just wasn't necessary for the small savings we would get in our monthly bill. Plus, the "best" system apparently has more sophisticated controls, etc. that could go bad over time and be costly to repair.
At any rate, the cost estimates were good compared to others we had received and Cliff's crew came out two days later and replaced our old conditioner and installed the new in one day. It's been over a year now and our electrical bills have been way below what we were paying with the original system.
Cliff's does offer a yearly maintenance plan but we did not sign up. Instead, and at the recommendation of the installers, we just make it a point to have a service call once yearly for now.
