    This has got to be the most incompetent and crooked guy I’ve ever met
    In May of 2023Peter Nunez demanded I pay $1,300 for services in advance to close a permit that was opened by the previous owner and never closed. After a visit to my condo from one of employees (not even sure if he was really an employee) the guy took some measurements, told me this was a simple job, would probably get closed within « a couple of weeks ».
    Long story short, during the process he demanded extra money to her an engineer for measurements even though this service was explicitely included in the contract. I offered that if HE payd I would reimburse when the permit was closed. In September (5 months after the beginning of the contract), he refused and I then took over the resolution of the problem. I hired my own engineer, dealt with the city myself and closed the permit myself all within 15 days - which HE could have done of had been competent of honest.

    My home has failed inspection by the city 2 times.. I Still have issues and damage to my home not resolved by JCM Roofing ... Still not inspected..as of today . No fault of the city... JCM is dragging their feet due to money out of their pockets to bring their work up to code...I have kicked myself in the a$$ .. For falling for the smooth talk an yes sir will do answers before I signed the contract ... I have filed with BBB last week.. and got a call from JCM Claiming they will make things right.... So far... Nothing......

    JCM Roofing & Restoration ,declined to reinstall lightning rods after installing a new roof. The lighting rods were attached on the house and fully functional prior to the new roof installation. JCM Roofing & Restoration refused to reinstall them claiming it is outside their scope of work. It was brought to the attention of JCM Roofing & Restoration that it is in writing in the signed contract, to wit ; " lightning rods to be D&R" (detached and replaced ). JCM Roofing & Restoration claim it was a mistake by the sales man Billy to include such a task. JCM Roofing & Restoration has also been made aware of several locations of poor craftsmanship in the installation of the fascia board that was installed by JCM Roofing & Restoration ,and issues in the areas of rain gutters and fascia board that was not installed properly nor professionally; Further more JCM Roofing & Restoration caused damage to our existing soffit and rain gutters JCM Roofing & Restoration placed a phone call to us on the morning that work was to begin and advises us that there would be a language barrier between us and the on site workers. But they would have a worker who could speak English if we needed to communicate with the workers. At the time of recognition, of the poor craftsmanship and damage to the soffit and rain gutters we tried to express our concerns regarding the issues , The person that was assigned as interpretation liaison was a Young female who sat in a running truck all-day and the English she spoke to us tends to make us believe that our conversations and concerns about workmanship, damages, were not fully understood or comprehend by the interpreter, or translated to the on site workers properly.. At the time of this review nothing has been done with the Lightning Rods or the other issues we have addressed. We would like to also point out , With the 3 bids we had in hand.. We signed the JCM Roofing & Restoration contract because of the lightning rods reinstall agreement. I have a case filed with The BBB, I also have informed the city to not sign off on the job because of the lighting rods have not been reinstalled and that JCM Roofing & Restoration has failed to complete the job 100%..I will be following up with other consumer advocates who have offered resources to help us resolve this situation.. Speaking with the Owner is a waste of time and effort, he takes no responsibility for his workers skill set and confirms that our crew was his B crew and that he is struggling with keeping good workers
