Clov Air

On 7/11/18 Clovair (805-791-9250 and 805-551-2659) installed an air and heating system. On 2/15/19, the heater only blew cold air. After 1 1/2 weeks of suffering in the cold, (age 65 and ADA Certified) Asa Manning responded , refusing to repair the heater, with the excuse, his company did not install it and it was illegally installed. When googling the phone numbers above, Clovair is the company listed. On 2/26/19, another heating company replaced the motherboard, costing $762. This company informed me the system was legally installed but they installed a low end inexpensive system(Guardian). The reason being, contractors make more money from their job. Upon contacting Asa Manning to update him on the repair and cost and notify him the Warranty he must send to the company, he threatened me, stating he is notifying Guardian to inform them their system was illegally installed to void my 10 year warranty. He stated ex associate John Zachary O'neill, (Zack from Clovair) installed the system, which keeps happening to him. How could this occur when I called the correct number for Clovair!?!
Why doesn't Asa Manning contact law enforcement to protect his customers and his business, instead of threatening Clovair customers!?! His excuses don't make senses and his threats are a violation of the law and elder abuse.

7/11/18, Clov Air installed new heating and electric system. On 2/15/19, the heater was blowing cold air, contacted Clov Air, Asa Manning, informed us Clov Air did not do this illegal job. Also stated 805-791-9250, was the incorrect number to call Clov Air even though that number is listed on this website. Although 65 and disabled, refused to assist me. I went for 2 weeks without heat. Another heating business replaced the motherboard 2/26/19 and stated it was not installed illegally but Gardian was the worst low end product on the market. Contracters get more money when low end inexpensive products are installed. When I notified Asa, he refused to contact the warranty provider and threatened to call Gardian and inform them their product was installed illegally. The facts speak for themselves.

highly recommend, the tech, Ernie, was professional, informative, positive. The owner was available and involved, even sending Ernie back the next day to secure a PVC joint more firmly. The cost was affordable and less than other estimates. The reroute is a temporary fix that is allowing me to use the AC. Thank goodness, as it has been very hot. The only negative is, I am still waiting for an estimate of the job that needs to be done to fix the leak behind the wall, which will also involve a general contractor. Thanks for a job well done.

I would highly recommend. The response, after I contacted the actual company, was fast. The tech, Ernie, was thorough, professional, and honest. The cost? reasonable. The owner, Asa, was concerned enough that no more leaking occur, that he sent his tech to double check it.
