    re-wire overloaded circuits and upgrade sub-panel box.

    I was in an emergency situation. My very outdated breaker box was arching and tripping constantly. I put out an inquiry around 8:00 p.m. Ignacio responded within 2 hours, respectfully via text first as to not disturb us so late. We spoke and he was out the next day to do a quick repair of the box and give a quote for future necessary subpanel upgrades and to re-wire some very over loaded circuits. His son Jonathan and nephew Hector were out the following day to make the repairs. It took some time but they completed the repairs efficiently and professionally. Next step an upgraded sub-panel. All 3 gents were knowledgeable and very professional. They were quick to respond to my inquiry, cleaned up after themselves and priced very fairly. The fact that they were a family business put them over the top. Thank you Coast Electric Company.

    They showed up on the first day for estimate. This is a family business. The dad let the son did the estimate. Proposed a sum of money for the project or hourly based one. The son didn't look like an experienced one. Wondered if he was ever licensed. The dad took off after that and let the son there to discuss the payment options. I opted to hourly based payment. The son took a estimate fees which should be deductible to the total charge of the project if the customer agreed to proceed. He said he would come back the next day to do the project. Never came back. They kept stating reasons like being busy, getting stuck in other projects etc. and said they would come another time when I called them. Worst experience ever. Never recommend this company to anyone. Very unprofessional.
