Horrendous Experience with Coastal Pools - Stay Away!
My experience with Coastal Pools of New Port Richey, Florida, and its owners, Kyle and Trish, was nothing short of a nightmare.
While the initial consultations were impressive, this proved to be a deceptive facade. Once we signed the contract and gave them our deposit for a complete inground pool installation with a waterfall feature, the true colors of this company emerged.
Kyle and Trish are masters of manipulation and incredibly difficult to work with. They engaged in bait-and-switch tactics, swapping out agreed-upon equipment and features hi for inferior substitutes without any notification or explanation.
The pool pump and filter we received were completely different models and brands than what was specified in our contract. They showed us a picture of a beautiful waterfall we were supposed to receive, instead we got a leaky mess that looked like was made of leftover stones from other projects.
The quality of the workmanship was shockingly poor.
During our project, we connected with other Coastal Pools clients who shared similar horror stories, including experiences with liens placed on their properties and comparable deceptive practices.
Communication with Coastal Pools is a constant battle. They actively avoid phone calls and screen incoming communication, only becoming responsive when they are ready for another payment draw.
After receiving payment, they routinely disappear for weeks, delaying the project and causing immense frustration.
I strongly advise anyone considering a pool project to steer clear of this company.
Save yourself the stress, financial burden, and potential legal battles – choose a reputable pool company. You will regret working with Coastal Pools.
