Cobra Heating & Cooling

In the fall of 2022 my 10 yr old gas furnace was only blowing cold air so I decided not to call the original company that installed the furnace since I had called them in the past trying to get an annual service contract but they weren't very helpful & kind of gave me the brush off. I chose Cobra because of the good reviews I had read about the company & the owner Tim. He found the problem then went over my options on what to do. My furnace wasn't very old but the brand that the prior company installed was very expensive to fix since it wasn't a widely used brand & the parts were hard to come by so I chose to get a new furnace from Tim. He gave me a reasonable price then it only took about a week for the delivery & install. Tim was great; very friendly, thorough, & he explained/showed everything being done. I had my 1st annual service on the unit earlier this month & he took care of making sure it was working properly. He also checked on my tankless water heater since it will be 12 yrs old later in 2024 but it's never been serviced (again, the original heating & cooling company that installed it had not mentioned any type of service schedule). I highly recommend Cobra & Tim!

To start, I was very skeptical at first. I had dealt with other companies in the past and they just couldn't figure out the system. I had problems with under and over heating and cooling in several rooms in my home. Not to mention my bills were in the proverbial sense "through the roof" whenever it ran. That's until I called Tim from Cobra Heating and Cooling. This guy is a wizard! He patiently explained and showed me what was the root cause of why the system was working inefficient. Offered a plan, created a reasonable estimate and executed the project without haste. I have to say that it was really a joy and relief to award Cobra the job because they did exactly what they were going to do. Here's my story. I had been putting off replacing my very old heating unit for quite sometime and of course it goes out completely when my wallet just isn't giving out enough baby bucks. So I called around to several heating specialists. Some just never acknowledged me. Others did but their prices and availability were just not something I could really consider. Until I contacted Cobra heat. From the first moment I spoke to the receptionist to the owner and his technician that commissioned the new system I decided to have them install. It was like the best service experience I had in a long time. Thank you Cobra Heating & Cooling, I recommend them highly.

Found them on line. Very responsive. Just bought a new condo and based on the inspection results the hvac unit was not installed correctly and missing integral parts. I never would have imagined it since the unit is brand new. After some delays gets the parts, Tim and his techs reinstalled the unit and made it work the way it should. They even gave me a guarantee. I’m really satisfied with their service and I will be using them from now on. Thank you.

My furnace finally kicked the bucket after 33yr so I decided to give Cobra a try. Their guy evaluated the unit and came up with some options that were affordable. After they installed the furnace and made changes I definitely noticed a substantial change in how the system runs for heating. The rooms get warmer and the house heats faster than before. I also liked the fact they fixed the duct work and added a return vent in the hallway and stand by their work. They made me a very happy customer for life.

We recently moved to the Norwalk, CT area and needed to find a heating/cooling contractor. So glad we found Tim! He is very responsive and explains exactly what is going on. We have had him service our heating/cooling systems and also fix an issue we had with one of our compressors. I am confident we are in good hands!

Well we were desperate to have someone come out to inspect our old furnace right away due to the monoxide detector going off. Technician Ben came in and tested and found cracks in the heat exchanger. We didn't believe it when we were told the diagnosis because we had just had our old company do a annual maintenance and they didn't say anything was wrong.

Looking for a quality air conditioning company is no easy task. No one calls you back or they throw out a number without itemizing what they are estimating? What a hassle! But I met Tim and his men get down to business.They showed up to work on the job and on time everyday. Wore covers on their boots and put down tarps to protect my hard wood floors. The carrier equipment they installed is top notch and energy efficient for my home. They coupled the system with a new hi-velocity system Unico air handler and my utility bills are extremely lower than they were from years past. The only thing I can recommend about these guys is that anyone looking for expertise and comfort at a reasonable budget for their home is to call to Cobra Heating & Cooling and ask for Tim or Benny. Reaching out to anybody else is a waste of time.

Wow! Benny was able to fix my furnace right before I went to work. He adjusted the system and made recommendations which I'm definitely going to follow up with. These guys know their stuff. Awesome! Their technician knew exactly what to do to fix our problem that we had since the system was installed by others-(company in Milford, CT).
