Cody Rhees has had to claim bankruptcy at least one time confirmed in the recent past. Cody is spoiled arrogant and will lie, cheat, and avoid any responsibility to correct mistakes that will always occur when building a home. Ask around with other GC’s in the area. The consensus is he is an asshole. Only after money and forgets customer service.

Cody Rhees and his Project Manager are both rude and disrespectful to the homeowners.
Cody, by far, is the worst, Ike is just his buddy that wants to make Cody happy no matter what. Right or Wrong have nothing to do with it.
Cody is very unprofessional and just an arrogant prick to work with. His company has gotten just big enough where he doesn’t care about the home owner. Cody builds a lot of speck homes so has very little to do with home owners on those projects. I think he just doesn’t understand that the building industry is always in flux. It will NOT always be so high and customer service should always be a focal point for business. THE only talent for this on his team is Michelle, but records have demonstrated it’s only a matter of time before her narcissistic boss starts to infect herself as well. She should let him destroy himself and move on.
Cody Rhees is truly like the cocky bully everyone had to tolerate to in high school, but most hated behind his back.
There are many equally talented builders in the area that haven’t forgotten basic human respect, hold more dignity, are still humble and care about their job sights and the customers they serve.
Building a home should be an enjoyable experience with the right contractor;

My advise, stay away from this guy. Do your do diligence, shop around for other contractors and trust your gut.

Probably the worst contractor I have ever used...I cannot even finish this review in that I get more and more angry with every word I type. A true sleaze.
