    I had Coffer Contracting remodel my first floor bathroom. It was begun and completed while my wife and I went camping for a week. I was completely confident leaving knowing Jon and his workers are held to a high level of integrity! He did excellent work and was very responsive to suggests from the clients (my wife and I).

    10 treads and risers to basement

    Unhappy with work

    Work required: 10 treads and risers to basement. Work took two days since initial stain and poly were done with wrong brush and needed to be re-done. Very poor finish with scuff marks, single coat of paint and caulk retracting. Contractor - John Coffer was too busy to take my calls, texts and emails once the work was paid for (yes, I paid before actually seeing it since he was recommended by a friend) and eventually sent his 20 y/o temporary in-training employee to tell me to call the 'HR' manager, his dad. Bottom line, DON'T HIRE HIM! Poor finish which needs to be re-done. Wouldn't consider fixing his work which would take 30 minutes for second coat over 10 risers to make me a happy costumer.
