    I can’t say enough good things about Coleson Homes. They made the building process such a great experience. They are very knowledgeable and build a great house. Lon & Zach went above and beyond my expectations. If you need a good builder, these guys are the ones to call.

    Construction of a loft within a barn

    If you decide to use Coleson Homes you’ll want to make sure you do these 3 things:
    1. Double check and compare ALL your invoices! Look for duplicate billing for material and labor as well as labor that wasn’t done or needed (like being charged the wiring of a dishwasher, disposal and built-in microwave that you don’t have), things THEY messed up on and charge to correct it and material not used on your project but charged to you, as well as ordering more than the standard 10% material (like 40% more) in order to charge you extra.
    2. Put up security cameras!
    3. Get all the work inspected! Look for electrician taking shortcuts of too small of an electrical box and putting 3-4 wires in per breaker which “can cause loose connections, arcing, and potentially a fire”, 220V wires put into a regular breaker instead of a 220V breaker, PVC glue not used on the plumbing, water heater wired to only 2 heating elements instead of all 4 making it extremely inefficient, HVAC using indoor conduit on the exterior units, using 40 amp breaker instead of the maximum 20 amp, which can “result in the unit burning up instead of shutting off when it gets too hot.”
    Why did Coleson Homes not catch any of this? Makes you wonder how much they really know about the construction business, if anything!
