Slapdash work and HORRIBLE Customer Service!
I just purchased a new Pulte home and am unable to hook up my washing machine using a standard drain hose, which I have successfully used at two previous homes that I owned. The hole that Design Plumbing cut for the drain hose was done in a slap-dash, haphazard manner. It is not a circle, there are several jagged edges, and as such my hose will not fit. I was told by Pulte Columbus Customer Service that i needed to contact Design Plumbing directly - they would not call on my behalf. When I spoke to someone at Design plumbing (he did not give me his name but his email is [email protected]) he was rude, combative, and absolutely refuses to acknowledge that they could possibly have made an error. Design Plumbing refuses to address a problem they created on my newly-purchased, under-warranty home. We’ll see if Pulte Customer Service does anything to address this problem - both with the drain hole and the abhorrent attitude from one of their contractors.
