Permits
- Building permit records show that Colossal Ventures LLC has worked on 8 permitted projects.
I bought a new construction build from this company in 2022. A year after we signed the papers, my dryer vent flooded because it was not properly sealed on the exterior of the house. Also found out that our smoke detectors were not on a separate breaker, and were connected to our back bedroom. The only reason I found out was because the breaker tripped, and they all started to chirp. Now, in 2025, we are having to replace our entire floor in our house because a vapor barrier was not placed under our LVP, and our foundation was not leveled. This caused moisture to get under the LVP and made it start to come apart. The flooring company said the only way to fix it was to pull it up and redo the whole floor, correctly. If you buy from this company, make sure you get a second opinion on a home inspection. Things that should not have passed were passed. Very questionable work by this group.
