Was forced to go to the BBB when Bob would not return a deposit check, they were unsuccessful. My next attempt at retrieval is Small Claims court. To add insult to injury, he is using a photo of my living room in his advertising. I’ve notified him, I want the photo removed, he’d never asked if he could use it. To date, it’s still on his website.

Bob doesn't return phone calls after installing products that do not work. Terrible customer service. Do not use this company.

Customer service is terrible. I've been trying to get Bob back to adjust the pilot light for over 2 months and he never returns my phone calls. I do not recommend purchasing a gas fireplace from him.

The job we contracted with Colts Neck Designs (converting existing fireplace from wood burning to gas log) was mostly completed after two months. But when one needs to have to fight and hassle a business owner to get what was already paid for is not worth the effort or cost. I believe my (easy) install was worked (almost completed) because I filed a court claim and Better Business Bureau complaint. However, the owner, Bob Kittle has also taken my daughters money and has not returned after more than three months now. There has been no further communication with her from him. Hopefully we can recoup her loss through the court action brought against him.
Maybe, with enough legal actions against Kittle/Colts Neck / Fireplace Designs the courts and the universe will act on this low down gypsy scammer shut him and his businesses down for good.
