spoke to Mr Byrd Macintosh, but didn't establish a great personal connection. Byrd offered to come see the work on a weekend (5 days away) but I requested sooner, Byrd couldn't meet that and stated that he didn't like me as a customer and was going to pull out of the bidding process. He was courteous and fine on the phone.
