I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them. After a huge run around with American Home Shield, I decided to call Comfort First Heating & Cooling myself because after several failures, I decided to just change the whole system out. As it turned out, they worked with American Home shield as well and deducted the insurance payment from the price before I canceled my policy.
They were very courteous and professional. They actually offered to go buy window units for me to use and return while they were installing the new system. They ran into problems with the thermostat installation and ended up replacing that as well at no cost to me. It is a programmable wifi thermostat that doesn't come cheap. They moved the AC unit over a couple of feet at my request. The problem was there was a plant that my wife wanted to keep in that spot. The technician actually dug it up and transplanted it for her. I asked him not to take the concrete pad because I wanted to use it down at the water line on my property. He asked me where and the carried it down (about 30 yards) and put it in place. They followed up promptly to ensure everything was good and I decided to sign up for their maintenance and upkeep program.
These situations can be pretty frustrating but these guys made it as painless as possible and seemed genuinely concerned. It can take quite a bit to impress me and I don't normally take the time to comment or do surveys but these guys went WAY above and beyond. I doubt I will ever call anyone else for my HVAC problems as long as these guys are in business.
