  HVAC System

  I had Ron Stewart and his crew install a new furnace and condenser in June of 2018. Fair price and they were able to get the work done same day. I was very happy with the work. There was an issue with the condensing unit making a very strange sound and Ron did come out an look at it, but never told me what he had or hadn't found. I then sent Ron's information to my Realtor to quote installing 2 more units in Hyde Park dwelling. Apparently the realtor wasn't able to make it and didn't inform Ron, and I was out of town and didn't respond to his text's as I was working in Louisiana for an extended period.

  Last summer I noticed that the there was some condensation build up around the vent that Ron and his crew installed that exhausts up and out of the house. I really didn't think to much of it and was extremely busy with work, plus everything seemed to be running fine.

  So now with the quarantine, I'm working from home and decide to text Ron for a spring cleaning. I also noticed that the condensation has now been running down the side of the unit developing rust. Ron tells me that he can do it but that i need to pay a service charge for the realtors no show and a service charge for the spring cleaning. I say no problem, he then says he want's cash, and this is where it goes down hill. I spent $7k with Ron and paid on time for the install, so I told Ron that I don't carry cash and that it's seems childish to request cash over something that was out of my control, it's also pretty unbelievable how petty he's being about a missed service call.

  Ron got pissed and said I need to find someone else to service. He also said that his 1 year workmanship warranty is over and i'm out of luck regarding his improper installation.

  Yes Ron did what he initially was supposed to do and I paid him immediately for the work that was completed. I also would have paid him for the missed service call had he said I owed him money then as I was willing to pay it now. Ron has a bad attitude and was extremely unprofessional concerning the follow up and follow through. So if you are looking to have someone install an HVAC system with a taillight warranty then call Ron Stewart of Command Heating and Air. If you expect service after the install, it might be a 50/50 shot.
