$500+ to install two ceiling fans in a baby room and young children's room. Manager said it was because they needed to make sure they bolted it properly in the attic, wouldn't want the fans to fall down on the kids. He said it was more than a basic install. He also said it would take a couple of hours to do it properly for the both of them. We bought the fans from Home Depot and specifically got the ones that could be mounted flush since the kids rooms have a low ceiling. Set it out with the instructions in each kid's room. My wife said when installer came in she talked with him about installing it flush against the ceiling. Installer said it was impossible and installed it with the down rod. My wife said she had to clean up wire and screws left on the floor in the baby and kids rooms. She also said it was about a 45 minute job total, guy never went into the attic or seemed to do anything to bolt it more secure than just a basic install. I came home and looked over the instructions again, it showed how to install it flush on the ceiling without any extra parts needed. Called the manager who requested I send him pictures of the instructions and he would look over it. Sent the pictures, he texted me and said he agreed with me and that the installer was just confused because they aren't used to flush fan kits also having an optional downrod. He said that they were busy with a new job but would come by in about a week to make it right. It has now been a month and they have probably just forgotten about us. In my opinion the cost, performance, and attention I have gotten from the company hasn't been worth what I paid. I would not recommend them.
