The team at Concorde really helped with every aspect of the building process. From lot assessment to financing, they were there every step of the way. Additionally, they built a truly beautiful home at a really great price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else looking to build a new home.

Permits

We hired Concorde Builders (founded by Jim Pesavento) to build our dream home in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Communication throughout the project by Jim (owner) and his superintendent was consistently poor. Important updates and a general project timeline/schedule was not shared, even after multiple requests. Throughout the build, there were long periods where there was little to no activity by the various trades, clearly caused by poor planning, which caused significant disruptions to the "schedule" and additional stress. One year following the project completion, Concorde refused to address and complete the items covered under the warranty, despite multiple attempts to reach out. While the final product generally met our expectations, the overall lack of professionalism and accountability made the process frustrating and deeply disappointing. Since the completion of our home, it appears Concorde Custom Homes is no longer operating and Jim Pesavento has opened a new residential construction company in Port Charlotte, FL. We would encourage anyone considering this company as their contractor to ask for references, read reviews, and consider alternatives.
