Condition One exceeded all expectations! They handled storm repairs, including mold remediation, in just three days of work. They worked diligently to ensure my insurance covered all the damage. Their professionalism and integrity made a tough situation so much easier. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat!

Reached out for a quote in May 2024. Chris was responsive but we weren't scheduled until July. The roofers put a roof on but did not remove the rotted wood underneath or repair the rotted wood shingles. Second roof put on and rotted support beams addressed in September. Finally, in November, Bruce came and fixed all the issues we had requested way back in May. The project was finished just in time for Thanksgiving. Hoping that nightmare was over we washed the bad taste that Condition One left in our mouths, until the roof started to leak. I reached out to Chris Sept 5 and he quickly responded that someone would be sent out. Edin contacted me on the 10th, we scheduled for Friday but no one showed so I had to call him and arrange someone to come Sat. I wrongly assumed that the roof would be evaluated and a repair would be scheduled in the future, right up until the roof was removed, yet again, without anyone explaining what the issue was or how it would be fixed. The SAME SHINGLES were nailed back on, silicone caulk was liberally applied and the diagnosis was not roof related...although the shingles were torn off? I am nervously awaiting the next rain storm to see what happens because I really, really DO NOT want to deal with Condition One again.
I chose Condition One because I liked the idea that they are veteran owned and their website makes them appear to be full service contractors who have the experience to handle a 12' x 18' single story addition on a 150 year old house. My experience proves that they do not and I have learned my lesson on trusting that the appearance of a website indicates anything about the business.
