My biggest financial mistake to date, but thru pics I will let you draw your own conclusions
Where do I even begin? First off this company charged astronomical prices for their service. They were recommended as a professional company that will do the job right. If I had known I was going to get what I got if have avoided them like the plague. I have detailed conversations with this company where they minimized their shotty work, that they would not continue with with out payment for said work, added to the bid for things that were obviously things that needed to be done when writing the bid. The office manager was rude and condescending. The construction site was a complete mess the entire summer with materials, nails, scraps, etc strewn everywhere. Had compaction reports done in places they new would not be a problem on native ground (opposed to where the fill was added). Their compaction was done by driving a tractor over it instead of using the equipment to do it right. Their compaction tests were done after the.house was on sight and assembled. Which it should have been done before it was placed. Widened the drive by dumping 3/4 minus on top of mud (opposed to using drain rock. So of course it sank and was useless) Widened a culvert and filled with 3/4 minus again opposed to drain rock so of course again the entire area washed away. Their conduit lines caved in across the driveway they never fixed it I had to. When septic issues were arising they advised me to contact the company that installed it, even tho they were the general contractors hired to do the job. Concrete floor is caved in (has to be torn out and re-poured). Beam in the shop is split to a level that is going to require it being replaced.
The list could go on. This has been my experience with them. Maybe there is some lucky people that they actually did a good job for. Maybe I'm just unlucky. Or I guess it could be that they got lucky on a couple jobs, just not mine. -

Everything you read about this company is unfortunately TRUTH ! Beware and stay away .
What they did to us we never recovered from, thousands of dollars stolen from us of shoddy work and had to get the county to enforce them to complete the project so our home was safe.
Your day is coming where you will lose all your ill gotten gains , may it be brutal and soon . -
By Shelley P.April 26, 2020General contractor for our retirement forever home and shop$110,000
My husband and I retired after serving in the U.S. Coast Guard for almost 30 years. We had a custom manufactured home built, along with a shop on our property in 2015 and 2016.
We hired ConKraft Construction, Inc to build the shop, a large deck ( almost $16,000), foundation, etc..,
The shop is 2100 square feet, and had many leaks. ConKraft sub-contracted the large deck. The tree decking that we paid for, was installed incorrectly, and now the deck is warping. The roof was installed incorrectly and is leaking. We contacted ConKraft’s office manager about the issues in 2019. They sent one of their employees to look at these issues, and he agreed that they were due to incorrect installation, and told us that they would get back to us. It took over four months, and finally, the office manager contacted us and said they weren’t going to do anything for us.
WARNING: Do not hire ConKraft to do ANY construction work. This was our forever home. After 30 years of military service, and this is how they treat us? This is how they guarantee their work? We worked hard for our retirement dreams, and ConKraft only cared about getting their money, NOT making things right, or providing quality work.Response from ConKraft Construction April 28, 2020Dear Shelley, First and foremost, I would like to apologize for the frustration you’ve experienced that caused you to write this review. It is never our goal to leave any of our customers frustrated or dissatisfied with the final work. When you reached out to us regarding the concerns about your deck, we were frankly surprised as it had been almost 4yrs since it’s completion not to mention it was built to code and passed final inspection by the county. The concerns you were bringing up were news to us, regardless we did all we could to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, the Warranty was no longer in effect as it had been well over the 12-mth time frame. We attempted to reach out to the Installer to see what other options you had but they were not responsive. We then sent our Estimator out to personally assess everything and see how else we could get you guys helped out. The recommendation was made to contact the materials manufacturer to see what could be done through them. We are not aware of what the outcome was for that. We did offer to waive any labor fees and just charge the minimum for material in order to resolve the issue for you in a timely manner. At that time, you declined our offer. Again, we are so sorry you’ve experienced frustration. Thank you for your feedback and if you would like to discuss solutions to your concerns our communication lines are open. Kindly, ConKraft Construction

Dean & Darcy were great to work with! You have to understand that we started at the height of the Covid pandemic here is Salem. Information from the city regarding their building requirements during the 'discovery period' were extremely sparse and, as it turned out, completely incorrect. As it turned out, the city slowly unraveled more and more requirements, some at the state & federal levels, so the project was delayed again and again. But ConKraft stayed with us fighting our battles even while tending to their own during the so-called great job migration. When the project actually was allowed to begin, the site presented new unforeseen problems, but Dean was able to overcome them and we now have a lovely home in a great location.
