Tim Larson (CFC) is not honoring a contract I have with him. He took the down payment and ran ... now after many attempts to contact him it seems he is a Con Artist and Scammer. My wife an I want the full amount of her check back.

Permits
- Building permit records show that Connecticut Framing and Construction has worked on 8 permitted projects.
Our porch and siding project should have taken 4 to 6 months. After 13 months the work was still not completed. Tim made many promises but would generally only be onsite for two hours a couple times per week and never really complete anything. I have all the e-mails and texts documenting our concerns and his promises.
We had the Building Department inspect his work and Tim had not gotten the required inspections. As a result we had to open walls and ceilings for inspections. The insulation Tim installed was not up to code and had to be corrected and a roof overhang Tim Installed had to be removed and replaced. The inspector called Tim's siding work the worst he had ever seen. No j channels or window flashing was installed to keep water from getting behind the vinyl siding. All of the siding and window trim Tim installed had to be removed and replaced.
We hired a different contractor and 3 guys fixed all the work Tim had been working on for 6 months in 5 weeks.
Tim has not responded to our request to be reimbursed for all the rework.
I would not recommend using Tim on on any house project.
