Connelly Roofing

I wrote this to my State Farm rep.
the fellas over at Connelly Roofing completed my roof last weekend. New ridge venting, Certainteed premium products and all that good new stuff that roofers are doing and using.
I do not do this often, because it is sadly not warranted, but I have to give credit when it is due.
I can HIGHLY , very highly in fact, recommend Pete Connelly and his team at Connelly Roofing (link below). It is a family affair, he employs his brother and they have a sharp tight team of his 2 sons and another quality fella. Family businesses are suffering, but this is a team that is solid. They do not cut corners, install quality products and quality adjunct hardware. I notice these things.
As part of their project protocol they even go into the attic, cap off recessed can lights, check to be sure that insulation is clear around the soffit vents, etc. Who does this? I bet this is where competitors cut corners to get a competitive invoice, but that is a deep mistake in my opinion. What is the point putting up your homes most expensive repair if you do not remedy small inside problems that will impact for years the life of a roof?
I know this sounds like a sales pitch, but it is not, this is just me singing the praises of a job very well done.
Pete told me he’s likely the last of the “hand hammer shingles” fells, a dying breed apparently. It sounds like everyone uses nail guns to speed things up. Pete Tells me that shoddy nailing is the number one reason for shingle installation errors and problems, so they old-school hand hammer to get it done right.
People who are proud of their work and want their work to last and protect their clients home deserve a few words of praise into the community
I could go on and on, but you get the idea.
These guys should be at the very top of your State Farm recommended list.
Pete is kind, honest and up front, it’s clearly the code he operates from.
Think of him next time a client asks for a quality recommendation. There will always be cheaper quotes in the marketplace (for a reason) but Pete clearly is top shelf and will not compromise the quality of his work, that became clear to me as the project progressed.
Pete and his team showed up when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves, finished this job before they started the next one, explained anything that came up, and communicated clearly.
Clearly, I cannot recommend Connelly Roofing any more highly. I too will be recommending Pete to all of my patients and friends. I can trust this referral will not come back badly on me. and to me, that’s everything.
If your State Farm clients want a best price, they can find many of them on the internet. You get what you pay for.
I tell my patients you do not want discount medications, just like you never want the discount parachute when skydiving, and i am extending that dialogue to a discount roof.
But if they want a job done right, no skipping of the important steps and details, Connelly Roofing should be at the front of your Rolodex.
