This was one of the worst experiences, I trusted theses guys to finish my kitchen and they left me hanging. Dan Marino one of the biggest liars no communication. After not responding multiple times told me he had other jobs and personal problems. Then told me to find someone else to finish the job. Wants to get paid on a job that he was unwilling to complete, said he will lien my home. This guy is a loser. STAY AWAY.
Response from Consolidated Builders Group Inc December 14, 2021Let me respond with a differing viewpoint. Mr R. Was acting as his own GC for his project. Upon arriving at the project we installed all the available cabinets and told Mr R. When he receives his additional missing cabinets we would return. No additional cost. When Mr R recueved his product he contacted me however I was away at funeral out of state. I told him we would make arrangements to get him on the schedule. After 4 days that was not quick enough for Mr. R at which point he became aggravated and made aggressive statements about my company and me. At this point asked him if ge would like us to finish. His aggressive nature did not change. I said I would send him a bill for work complete and said he wasn't paying anything. So we never got paid for the work accomplished P.s. He called in a panic one day before this confrontation and asked if we could cut in his farm sink because he had scheduled his countertop template. I told him there is an additional charge for cutting the sink in and he said no problem. We sent a guy there the next day and did it. Didn't get paid for that either. -

I would steer clear of this company. They are unprofessional and unreliable. Sales rep I dealt with was rude and used foul language. He was not interested in my project and continued to state you want the project done right you will hire me. When I voiced my concern he said I don’t need to do your project as I do several hundred a month and your project won’t break the company. .

CB Group is great. Been working with them for years. Not sure if any builder thinks outside the box and demands perfection from his people like Dan Marino. if its 1 window or 100, it's the same lever of service. I've been in the building business most of my professional life. Companies like this are hard to come by.
My opinion, the negative reviews are more about the people posting them then it is about CB Group.
