    Got a text from these folks asking if I would be around that morning because their estimator would be able to come by, to which I replied yes. Additionally, they gave me the estimators phone number. I called him three times with no answer. The call didn’t even go to voicemail, so I was unable to leave him a message. As a result, nobody showed up and as such I gave up on them, moving on to the next contractor. A couple days later, I was contacted by Brooke from Build Zoom who told me that this company was no longer available to look at my project. Given the circumstances, I would not feel comfortable giving them a recommendation. Just sayin’.

    Overall, they did good work. There are a couple of spots near one of the outlets where the new drywall looks bumpy under the paint, and you can see the mesh through the paint. But there were issues with that outlet and it's going to be hidden behind furniture anyway. The only other thing I would mention was that the crew arrived 2 hours later than the time we were told they would arrive the first day, and so did the plasterers when it was their day to come. But, the price was very reasonable, the men were all very friendly and respectful and the work was good. I would recommend them and use them again.

    The communication was very good-- prompt, keeping in touch about updates and more. The actual work was professional, very good quality, and clean-up was good. There was a minor hiccup around the local building permit process, but everyone was patient and it all worked out. I now have a wonderful looking garage with everything I asked for in its finished state.
