HORRIBLE experience and now I have to take them to court! I had a walk out basement done by these guys and within a year, I had mold on my doors and water leaking into my house. I had it addressed the right way because they took shortcuts and their MIA in reimbursing me for it when their contract clearly says 10 years warranty and I showed them pictures and videos of damages. Mike and Scott are the owners, no wonder their previous 4 companies have mysteriously been shut down by the courts or relabeled to this title as the flavor of the month. Your better off doing it yourself or finding someone with a legitimate standing to do the work. Wouldn't be surprised if they moved onto retitling their company again for new reviews.

1. Worst company I have ever dealt with & to think that they are backed by the BBB. Which after talking to the BBB they are not. So they are falsifying information on their brochure that they hate giving to theirs clients. I was looking for a mold removal company online and one of those home advisors got my info and then Construction Solution 911 called me. I got a couple of quotes & I went with this company because I liked John’s ideas better & for the price I thought it was a better deal. Should have known, to good to be true & I should have gotten all the little things in writing. John came out on 9/21/18 & met with me and gave me a quote of $4000.00 (that was with a $300.00 discount) that was with 2 coats of 24/7 anti fungal paint. One would be sprayed on and the other would be rolled on. I asked him if that would make my garage look like it did know and he said YES since you are paying for 2 coats. I told him good because of my shoulder I couldn’t paint the garage and he reassured me it would cover it just like it looks now. When I got the email quote it was $300.00 more. When I called John’s cell he didn’t call me back (this happened numerous times) so I called the office and left a message explaining that it was $300.00 more than it should be. Kimmi said she spoke to John and he revised the contract back to $4000.00. On 10/3/18 when he came out for me to sign the contract I notice that he dropped the $300.00 off because he was only putting 1 coat of 24/7 anti fungal paint when I asked him where the original paper was that he had when he came out the first time showing that he was doing 2 coats of anti fungal paint, he wouldn’t answer me. He said that was 2 coats of spackle not paint. I tried to call John’s cell but again he didn’t pick up or return my call. He emailed a corrected contract with the 2 coats for $4000.00, but I never got to sign that one. I needed new insulation, which he says he gave me a brake on, however I’m not sure how much I believe that after everything else that has transpired & the new contract price was $5100.00. We had to give him a check for $1000.00 at time of signing the contract on 10/3/18. Back on 9/21/18 he told us he was 2-3 weeks out well by 10/8/18 we hadn’t heard anything so my husband called. Kimmi said they are having a meeting on Wednesday and she will call to set up the start date, well by 10/16/18 still no call so my husband called them & they said oh, we will start on Wed 10/24/18, and be there Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Well they were here Wednesday & Thursday & that was it. Didn’t see them back for almost a week & then they did some spackeling. Mostly both coats in the same day & then asked us if we had a heater to put in the garage since it was to cold & the spackeling wouldn’t dry, so they could paint, so we borrowed my in-laws space heater & they painted both coats in one day& also did some spackeling. On 11/10/18 we came home at 1:00 only to find them standing in our driveway waiting to finish up, which in-tailed, hanging lights & scrubbing the garage floor. No prior phone call before they came (this happened before & I wasn’t home so they had to leave & we forgot to lock the garage door because of all the fumes so the just let them selves in the days they did work without even letting me know they were here). Common curtesy would be at least ring the door bell. Natalie had left me a message, so I called her back and questioned why no one called to let us know they were coming and here response was they finished there other job up early so I took the chance and sent them over. ( for all she knew I could have been having a party) John told us it would take 3 days to get the job done, it has now been 2 ½ weeks. I had to empty my garage, store all my contents on my trailer & store stuff at other people’s house, which is an inconvenience to them & us. On 11/10/18 I called Natalie about the way the drywall looked, unfinished still seeing all areas if spackle lines and the drywall itself. She told me to take a picture and send it to her and she would talk to John and get back to me on Monday. 11/12/18 called Natalie about drywall again, and also 3 weeks to finish job when John told me 3 days & I still have to wipe everything down and it’s getting colder plus not good for my health to be out there doing this. Also, I don’t think it’s fair to pay full price especially since my mother is footing the bill & she is extremely unhappy. Natalie said she would talk to the production manager & John and get back to me today. Well on 11/13/18 she sent me an email rather than a courtesy phone call. Well as you read her email you can see the company lies because they say dry time between coats of paint & they did both coats the same day!!!!!
See copy of her email attached:Ms. Schanley
Spoke with the owners of the company about your request for deduction.
John mis-spoke when he told you the job would be completed in 3 days. I believe installation of the the dryw
Response from Construction Solutions 911 February 18, 2019This was settled for a discount of $1000 as per the client request to the Attorney Generals office. She refused to pay after the offer until we threatened to take her to court. The Attorney General offered to assist in collecting but could not make her pay. She paid the discounted amount. -

The job on the outside was okay I think more cement should have been put on and the think inside where the window was you should have put cement covering the wall where the window was so it was entirely covered like it was never there. I had another window I was going to get done but the price was way too much and the job wasn’t finished to me. That is my opinion period no feedback this is my opinion

I had a very complicated and frustrating house sale which required waterproofing before settlement. I contacted Scott McFarland and same day he was there to assess the problem. In 2 days his crew completed the job of installing a French drain, sump pump combination to correct the issue. I would give Construction Solutions a million stars if I could. It was a pleasure working with Scott, his crew and administrative team. It was because of this company that I was able to keep settlement date. I highly recommend them to call first if you need waterproofing work. Charlotte P.

The team at Construction solutions was very professional. Came to appointments on time, finished the work on time and according to what we talked about and scoped out. They were responsive and competitively priced. I would recommend them to anyone!

We had the worst experience with this contractor. If you are new to this, my best advice is get everything in writing, from the small things to the date on the contract and the time frame the job should be done.
Mike Jones is a liar, who lacks professionalism and responsibility. We initially hired the company to complete the basement and the kitchen in 2018. We are still living without a working kitchen ( we don’t even have a working sink or running water) and the basement has so many errors done, that it’s costing us an additional 8000 to get it done and fix all the areas that were not done properly. Just a few examples: There is water leak in the “new bathroom”. There are many electrical outlets without covers.
Our living condition is not safe, and not to mention... this is not even half of that has not been done for the job that we FULLY paid for ( which was our biggest mistake).
My advice to anyone reading this. Do NOT hire this contractor as he does not care ( as he will make you believe). And he will make you regret hiring him. This man is irresponsable, and will do anything to not get the job done.
