    I had the same problem with Carlos. He took my money and never finished the job. Used my money to pay workers on other projects. He abandoned the job. He owes me $25K. He can’t be trusted. Avoid him at all cost.

    Carlos was a trusted friend, known for about 10 years. The bath remodel was done fine and no problems so far. However, it was such a slow process, it took 4 months.

    The problem was with Carlos, can not be trusted. Since I was going to be out of the country I gave him my credit card number for supplies and paying his workers. As other reviewers have indicated, he does not pay his workers. He charged my card for over $3,000 plus materials that were used on other projects. Since I knew him, he did refund part of my money but still owes me approximately $1,500. I've tried reaching him but there was no response. I am 75 years old and on a fixed income and so disappointed with a young man I trusted. Good workers will not work for him because he does not pay them. The only way I could get work done was to buy materials and pay them directly.

    Carlos's Designer Floyd and Project Manager Israel sat down and spent a lot of time with us to draw the design we envisioned. They took care of the permit application for us as well after the drawing was ready. The construction crew started the interior demolition while we were in design and permit application progresses. The permit took a month. We started the plumbing, electrical, kitchen, bathroom, flooring work after the permit was ready. Carlos took us to many suppliers to choose the type of cabinets, countertops, bath sinks, flooring materials we like. I think what Carlos offered was more than a design-builder could offer. I like the experience working with Carlos, hassle free and engaging.
