Deon had done minor repairs for me for a few years. When he told me that I needed a new unit, I trusted him. He charged me $5400 for the cheapest model. He did not pull a permit and he did not do the install to safety codes. Six months later the unit started to leak and he spent 4+ hours trying to figure out the solution. He then sold me a $278 pump that started spitting water 2 days later. Got another company to look at the problem. They removed the pump and fixed the problem in less than an hour. They then pointed out to me all the short cuts Deon had taken. An additional $800 to the new company allowed me to pass a city inspection. Deon refused to reimburse me for the useless pump and additional costs to rectify his mistakes.
