Cooper Mechanical

A month ago Cooper came to install some air conditioning systems, and a humidifier. My house is 9 years old and only one of my units was leaking but I decided to go the extra mile and replace what I had. The reps and techs were all pleasant people, The work commenced without an actual estimate. My mistake I confess, but they came strongly recommended by a company I trust. and I provided a deposit. The work commenced and finally the balance of the work was presented to me after I had requested it. To my surprise the statement was 2 lines of details. I called the office and asked for more details and a description of what work was done. I was told that the accounts receivable person was unable to do this and I should ask the salesman. Eventually the detailed statement arrived with allegations that I had not provided the necessary installment payments as the work proceeded. The balance was paid, and I discovered that there were noises coming from the ductwork, (not loud but irritating). I am still waiting for remediation. Apart from that I had requested in an email that my existing thermostats not be replaced because I did not want programmable thermostats. This was ignored and 4 new thermostats were installed. I was able to salvage two of the four that were replaced and bought two more. All existing thermostats were new and had been ordered from Amazon because I found it necessary to replace the Nest thermostats that the former owners had installed to suit their ecological tastes. I called the company to switch them back again and was told that they were "incompatible" but perhaps could be altered. That was last week and I am still waiting to hear from the company. All I want is to be able to easily turn the heat/cooling on/off, heat/cold, choose the temperature and use the humidifier if necessary. So I wait, At one point they made an appointment with me to address my issues but didn't show up. This is not a company that is dedicated to customer satisfaction.
