COMPLAINT: After working with Mr. Corbo for over 20 months in the planning/building our home, Mr. Corbo breached our contract and stated his reason to breach our contract was, "we were not a good fit" - hum? Additionally, once we were presented with the build contract, we request Mr. Corbo to make changes to the home plans part 1 based on our approved budget to reduce the build cost 30% and make changes to the proposed build contract part 2 to clarify the responsibilities and liabilities, he stated, "he will not change the build contract". Mr. Corbo's response in walking away and breach our contract was not what we expected from a master builder. The documents Mr. Corbo sent in certified mail to us were not usable to plan/build our home since the plans were not certified/approved nor changed so they could be used on our property.
Fact: Mr. Corbo did not meet the terms of the agreed/approved part 1 planning contract (contract breached) and had not provided usable documents to build our home, therefore, to satisfy the contract terms we desire Mr. Corbo provide us a refund our $10K deposit.
OPINION: If you value your hard-earned money and time, we recommend you choose another builder who respects their clients.
